Dengan ini, adalah dimaklumkan bahawa saya telah membuka cawangan baru (di blogspot) dan MUNGKIN tidak akan lagi menulis di blog ini. Tak berani nak kata, buatnya meroyan ape, nanti aku tulis lagi kat sini. Hehe.. Akan tetapi, blog ini insyaAllah tidak akan saya delete sebab banyak story mory dari zaman student sehinggalah ke err.. masih student rupanya aku sekarang.
Alasan berlakunya penghijrahan:
1. Friendster blog ni tak boleh letak slide show, song list, etc..
2. Nak upload gambar pun ada had saiz tau, tak boleh upload banyak2.
3. Setiap kali update blog, kawan2 akan dapat notification thru e-mail - mungkin ini sangat memenyampahkan mengganggu sesetengah pihak.

Cerita dari Netherlands. Hari2 bangun pagi, cuaca mendung (sejak 2 mggu lepas). Walaupun katanya spring, tapi ngalahkan autumn. Autumn in my heart. Nak g office pun malas tau.. Apatah lagi nak bangun awal bersiap2 semua tu. Pagi tadi gi office rambut macam kuda padi (kena tiup taufan) kat padang depan tu ha.. Tah hape2.. Malas nak layan, capai hair band terus keluar rumah. Tapi muka sempat la disiapkan. Hehe.. And i mandi okes, kang ingat i tak mandi pulak.
Harini sejukk.. Tak jadi la nak keluar beriadah pada jam 6 petang. Ha, ni khabar gumbira. Bermula Isnin lepas, Che Dah & i dah berjaya beriadah setiap petang. Siap turun tgga naik tangga lagi tau. 11 tingkat you.. Tu pun nak cerita kan, maklumlah i ni kan ke guni beras, gerak seket tu pun kira hebat la. Hehehe..
Kalau dah sejuk2 ni, harusla perasaan kelaparan & kebuluran tu menjadi2. Kalau 3 hari lepas ktorang buat Nasi Carrot & Sate, 2 hari lepas kitorang try Wat Tan Hor pulak. Semalam buat Nasi Daging. Kesemuanya ilham My Resipi. Malam ni aku tak tau la apa nak jadi. Ya Tuhanku.. Kuatkanlah iman hambaMu ini.. Jangan melahap menjadi2 sangat..
Tapi kan, makan tu la saatnya yang menggembirakan. Makan ni kira nikmat dunia lah (pada aku la). Hehehe.. Oklah, kalo terhasil pape yang berbaloi dari dapur ktorang untuk ditempekkan gambarnya, akan ku tayang nanti. Nak browse My Resipi untuk dinner ideas dulu..

Semalam kami (Che Dah & I) telah dijemput untuk makan malam di rumah Chitra di Amsterdamsestraatweg. Chitra ni adalah teman serumah Gaya & Lau. Setelah beberapa bulan di Netherlands untuk program post doc-nya, Chitra nak kembali ke Switzerland. Tapi Chitra sebenarnya dari India tau. Kat Switzerland tu sebab pelajaran la jugak.. Hehe.. Menu semalam memang best!! Makan sampai kembung. Layan gambar lah ok..

Ahhhh… Legaa… Lepas ni nak dok diam2. Hehe.. Semalam baru plan dengan Che Dah nak pergi joging setiap hari pukul 6 ptg. Tup2, semalam dapat jemputan dinner pukul 7pm plak. Makanya kui 6ptg dh kena keluar rumah, tak dapat la nak mula exercise harini. Esok la start ye.. Doa2kanlah berjaya.
Last Thursday was wonderful! I planned a birthday dinner for a good friend of 7 years, Che Dah. It was supposed to be a surprise, but of course it’s hard to keep it a 100% surprise, as both of us are staying in the same house. Hehe.. So, i told her that Lau was coming to visit us, together with Mok & Gaya. Of course I did all the groceries shopping for the dinner with Che Dah, but she thought it was going to be a get together dinner with 3 of our colleges from UPM Veterinary Faculty. She did not know that I actually invited 10 friends to join us that night. Hehe..
One problem though, I had to sneak away to buy party decorations - hats, garlands, balloons, etc. So, on the Thursday morning, I planned to go shopping ALONE. Oh my, it scared the hell out of me, because I never had the courage to go shopping alone, furthermore, this is not MALAYSIA. I was scared. I thought about the idea many, many times, and convinced myself I can do it!! Come on, I am a 25++ WOMAN, with a title in front of my name. What do I have to be afraid of? I took a shower, put on my clothes and grabbed my handbag. However, at the very last moment, I couldn’t bring myself out of the house. My goodness!! I surrendered. I chickened out.
So, yup, you guess that right.. I asked her at last, “Che Dah, ko nak pergi Centraal tak? Aku rasa kita kena beli ayam lagi la sbb Sabtu ni Mok nak buat picnic”. So she agreed, and I guess she was excited about the idea too, because she can claim her birthday gift from The Body Shop (every card member will get to choose a gift worth 10 euros). So, I kept disappearing to search for party decorations, telling her I need to search for a good photo frame. Hehe.. The hell with it, it was soo hard to find a shop selling all those things. At last, we went to HEMA and I found what I was looking for. But this time she caught me red handed! Arghhh…. And so I bought cute birthday candles, party hats, a colorful cake stand, 14 meters of colorful garlands, & balloons. It’s gonna be a real kiddy, colorful birthday dinner. Hehehe..
Okay, she hung up all the decorations herself, but she still didn’t have any idea that more people are coming to celebrate her birthday. And she didn’t know that Gaya baked a birthday cake for her. She thought the caramel sloft she bought earlier was gonna be her birthday cake. Hehe..
The menu on that night were flat leaf parsley grilled chicken with green rice+ulam+sambal belacan (here’s the recipe), chicken satay+peanut sauce+cucumber+onion, tomato pesto spaghetti & apple+celery+walnut+raisin salad.
When Lau, Gaya, Mok & Chitra arrived, they brought a Dutch strawberry kwark tart (the b’day cake), a choc biscotini fudge, strawberries, a tub of choc ice cream & a box of Vianetta ice cream. My goodness! ; )
It was a wonderful nite, with great friends, great food, great gifts for the birthday girl, and I’m sure, everyone enjoyed themselves. Happy birthday my dear friend. I hope you’re happy with the birthday celebration and may you have a satisfying, happy, successful life. Enjoy!!! ;D
I had the chance to visit Prague during Easter break. My oh my, it is a very beautiful place. When we arrived there, it was already late at night. But somehow, Prague looks magical under the moon light. The view of Prague castle sitting on top of the hill, with all the beautiful lights and towers, was so magical! Like the magical world of Disney. Hehe.. Too bad I didn’t have my camera ready to capture the view from our taxi.
During the day, Prague still looks beautiful. With all the old building and architecture preserved, Prague has the air of being very European. Oh well, maybe a few people still does not know that although Czech Republic joined the European Union in 2004, the currency is not EURO, instead, Czech Koruna (CZK) is used. Currently, the country is still preparing to adopt the EURO.
To post a postcard from Prague to Malaysia, it costs only 18 CZK (less than 1 EURO). The transportation cost is wayy cheaper than the Netherlands’ transportation cost. The same goes for the food!
Oh, if you ever decide to visit Prague, don’t ever forget to visit Cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO world heritage site. It is so medieval, with all the renaissance air surrounding it. Very beautiful, very magical.
